   About the Forum...

Our Story
The EcoRes Forum was founded in 2006 by Mary Batson-Leyser, with the encouragement and support of a global network of like-minded colleagues and friends. The Forum’s development has been guided by a group of social entrepreneurs working at the forefront of such issues as climate change, environmental justice, sustainable living, and animal welfare, all with a special focus on using new media and Web 2.0 technology to widen the circles of influence of each person on the planet.

Team members include Director Mary Leyser, Biane Ronken, Bjoern Leyser, Richard Lemons, and Heiko Stetter. The team conducts ongoing research on the social and ethical aspects of climate change and related issues, develops and hosts the Forum’s online e-conference series and works to raise awareness both locally and globally on these topics.

Special thanks to our supporters, participants, partners, and friends!
EcoRes enjoys the support and partnership of a wide range of grassroot and nonprofit organizations from around the world. In appreciation and recognition of their efforts, inspiration, and assistance, the EcoRes Forum wishes to thank our panelists and guests, volunteers and supporters, advisors, the EcoRes Team and most of all, our e-conference participants, who have made the development of the EcoRes Forum possible: THANK YOU!
